Ingredients

Essential Ingredients
  • 1 pound Ground Pork Opt for pasture-raised pork for better flavor and quality.
  • 8 ounces Noodles of your choice Use whole grain noodles for added fiber and nutrition.
  • 2 cups Mixed Vegetables (bell peppers, broccoli, carrots)
  • 3 cloves Minced Garlic
  • 1 tablespoon Minced Ginger
  • 2 tablespoons Sesame Oil Provides a nutty richness.
  • 3 tablespoons Soy Sauce Add to taste.
  • 2 scallions Chopped Green Onions To garnish.

Method

Preparation
  1. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook your noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside, allowing a quick rinse to prevent sticking.
  2. In a large skillet or wok, pour in 2 tablespoons of sesame oil and warm over medium heat.
  3. Add 3 cloves of minced garlic and 1 tablespoon of minced ginger, sautéing until fragrant.
Cooking
  1. Introduce 1 pound of ground pork and cook until fully browned, breaking it apart with a wooden spoon.
  2. Toss in 2 cups of mixed vegetables and stir-fry until they soften but retain their crunch, about 4-5 minutes.
  3. Carefully fold in the drained noodles, drizzling soy sauce over the mixture, and stir until every ingredient is coated.
  4. Plate your stir fry and top with chopped green onions.

Notes

Incorporate spinach or kale for additional vitamins, or try zucchini or sweet potato noodles for a low-carb option. Serve in a shallow bowl for visual appeal, and pair with ginger lemonade or jasmine tea.
