Ingredients
  

Chicken and Butter
  • 4 pieces Chicken breasts or thighs Thighs stay extra juicy.
  • 4 tablespoons Butter Real butter tastes best.
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced Fresh is best, but garlic powder works too.
Sandwich Components
  • 1/2 cup Caesar dressing Use your favorite dressing.
  • 2 cups Romaine lettuce, chopped Chop it for easier bites.
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, shaved or grated Both styles work well.
  • 4 slices Bread (ciabatta, hoagie rolls, or sourdough) Toast for best results.
Optional Extras
  • 1 wedge Lemon For garnish.
  • to taste Black pepper Add for seasoning.
  • to taste Crispy bacon or croutons Optional toppings.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Pat the chicken dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  2. If the breasts are thick, slice them in half to cook evenly.
Cooking
  1. Heat a skillet on medium heat. Add a little butter, then cook the chicken until golden and cooked through.
  2. Lower the heat and add more butter and minced garlic. Stir for about 30 seconds.
  3. Toss the chicken in the garlic butter, spooning it over for flavor.
  4. Toast your bread until golden.
  5. In a bowl, mix chopped romaine with Caesar dressing, Parmesan, and black pepper.
Assembly
  1. Assemble the sandwich: place bread, then chicken, followed by the Caesar romaine mix and extra Parmesan.
  2. Press gently to hold the sandwich together.

Notes

Store chicken in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Keep romaine separate until ready to serve to avoid sogginess.
