Ingredients

Dough and Sauce
  • 1 package Pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil Opt for extra virgin for best flavor
  • 1 cup Pizza sauce
Toppings
  • 1 cup Mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup Feta cheese, crumbled Look for sheep’s milk feta for creamier texture
  • 1/3 cup Black olives, sliced
  • 1 cup Cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cup Bell peppers, sliced
  • 1/2 cup Red onion, sliced
  • 1 cup Fresh spinach
  • 1 teaspoon Mediterranean spices (oregano, basil) Adjust according to taste

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven according to the pizza dough instructions, typically around 475°F (245°C).
  2. On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough until it’s a thin, evenly shaped circle, about 12 inches in diameter.
  3. Generously brush the rolled-out dough with olive oil.
  4. Spread the pizza sauce evenly across the surface, ensuring to leave a clean edge for a crust.
  5. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
  6. Top with crumbled feta cheese, followed by black olives, halved cherry tomatoes, sliced bell peppers, red onion, and a handful of fresh spinach.
  7. Season generously with Mediterranean spices.
Baking
  1. Insert the pizza into the preheated oven and bake according to the dough instructions, usually 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and bubbly.

Notes

For a healthier pizza, consider adding extra vegetables or using whole wheat dough. For serving, slice into perfect triangles and enjoy with a salad or glass of white wine.
